# Us brand & store assets

The original reference is the user-supplied `ChatGPT Image Sep 13, 2026, 04_54_18 PM.png` at the repository root, preserved unchanged. This pack uses its burgundy/rose embracing couple symbol and brown serif **Us** lettering. Cream backgrounds match the app's `#FAF7F0`; body and display copy use the existing DM Sans / Cormorant Garamond pairing.

## Files

| Location | Contents / use |
| --- | --- |
| `logos/` | Transparent symbol, wordmark, horizontal/light/stacked lockups, tagline lockups, app icon and Android variants |
| `play-store/app-icon-512.png` | 512×512 RGBA PNG, square full background; no baked-in corner mask or external shadow |
| `play-store/feature-graphic-1024x500.png` | 1024×500 RGB PNG promotional banner |
| `play-store/screenshots/` | Four 1080×1920 RGB PNG portrait screenshot layouts, numbered in listing order |
| `play-store/listing-copy.md` | Suggested short description and image alt text |
| `social/share-1200x630.png` | Website/social sharing image |
| `source/` | Transparent logo master and full-resolution generated feature graphic |
| `prompts.json` | Exact prompts used with the built-in image-generation tool |

Use the symbol alone for launcher icons and very small sizes. Use the horizontal logo in app and website headers. The stacked version suits the splash; reserve the tagline lockup for large placements. Do not stretch variants or add rounded icon corners: the platform supplies its mask.

## Integrated locations

- Mobile: `assets/`, `src/components/BrandLogo.tsx`, shared `TopBar`, startup loading state, and Expo icon, adaptive/themed icon, notification and splash configuration.
- Website: `public/brand/`, header/footer and Daily demo logos, decorative hero mark, static Next icon/apple icon/social metadata assets.
- The app's envelope, playing cards and outlined hearts remain decorative illustrations.

## Store graphics

The four portrait compositions use actual existing captures from `mobile/artifacts`: Our Daily reveal, Play, partner hints, and Memories. They crop the old top branding and the development launcher badge outside the frame. The UI content itself is not generated. Sources remain unchanged. These are **composed preview screenshots**, not new release-build captures; before submission, compare them with the release app and replace captures if its interface has changed. In particular, the memory photo and Alex/Jamie answers are illustrative sample content.

The feature graphic is promotional artwork generated with the supplied logo as reference. Its conversation cards illustrate Our Daily; they are not a screenshot. No store badges, ratings, availability claims or endorsements are included.

Google requires a 512×512 icon, 1024×500 feature graphic, and at least two screenshots. This pack provides four phone layouts at the recommended portrait resolution of 1080×1920. [Google Play preview-asset requirements](https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/9866151?hl=en-GB) and [icon specifications](https://developer.android.com/distribute/google-play/resources/icon-design-specifications) were checked on 13 September 2026. No tablet, TV, wearable, preview video or store submission is included.

## Regenerate exports

The website's **`/assets`** page previews 23 published PNGs and offers individual downloads, listing copy, and a complete ZIP. It is linked from the footer. Published copies live in `website/public/downloads/`; the page catalog is generated in `website/src/lib/brand-assets.json` from the actual image dimensions and file sizes.

To publish existing exports without generating images again, run `node brand/scripts/publish-assets.cjs`. This copies only the curated public assets, generates the catalog, and creates `us-brand-kit.zip`. Packaging requires the `zip` command (included on macOS and commonly available on Linux); it is not part of the website production build. The exported files and ZIP are committed with the website so deployment does not need the root brand directory or image tooling.

After installing the website dependencies, run from the repository root:

```sh
node brand/scripts/export-assets.cjs
```

The script uses Sharp through the website's Next dependency and the bundled licensed fonts. It resizes the saved masters, lays out existing screenshots, copies the resulting PNGs into their consuming projects, then refreshes the website downloads and ZIP. It makes no generation API requests, starts no application and runs no tests. Crop coordinates refer to the committed transparent master and the current 390×844 preview captures; adjust them if replacing those sources. The built-in image-generation tool produced the two masters, with the exact prompts saved alongside this guide.

Launcher icons, Android notification icons and the native splash require a new native build to appear. Builds and app tests were intentionally left to the owner.
